Peter Fishli: It's a very subjective encyclopaedia. We were concerned with the simultaneity of minor as well as major events. We were working with whatever knowledge we'd retained about each topic. Let's say we were creating a sculpture about, for example, the construction of the pyramids: we wouldn't consult any history books. Sometimes, as in the case of the pyramids, mistakes were made.
